Add features "FAST-WEIGHTING" and features "PARAMETERS" in the Noise Demo app

in utopian-io •  7 years ago  (edited)

Components

Noise demo is a Noise sample application written in the Rxjava2 kotlin and a very useful android FFT implementation to use, noise demo is an open source application, so it's free to use. After trying to use this app to test noise samples, I did not find the "Fast-weighting" feature and the "Parameters" feature in the app, whereas both features are a very useful feature.

Proposal

I would like to suggest to the developers of the Noise Demo app, we recommend that developers add the "Fast-weighting" feature and the "Parameters" feature in the toolbar section of the app, so users can reach it easily, and the developer modifies the Fast-weighting feature section to give users choices set the feature, the developer must add features Fast-weighting, Slow Weighting, Impulse Weighting, and Equivalent Continues, so users can choose the feature as desired. The developer must also modify the "Parameters" section to add some parameters options that can be used by the user, and grant the user permission to activate the desired option.

Mockups / Examples

An example of an illustrated image display after the developer adds two very useful features in the Noise Demo app.

An example illustration illustrates the placement of both features.

Benefits

Users can also use the Fast-Weighting feature when they want to taste the sound when trying to display a spectrograph, such as wanting to use fast, slow, impulse mode, or equivalent advanced mode, which is amazing and useful to the user. So the user gives the best rating for Noise Demo application, and brags to his friends, because the Noise Demo application he uses for noise samples has the feature to set fast weighting as desired.

And the benefits of the "Parameter" feature added by the developer in the Noise Demo application will make the Noise Demo application more appealing to use, because the Noise Demo application user can replace the parameters as desired, the user can choose which parameters to display such as LAF, LCF, LZF, LAS, LCS, LZS, and many others. And that's a big advantage for users.
