Propose the "Allowed device" feature and the "Server settings" feature in the Hotspot VPN app

Components

VPN Hotspot is an application for android devices that works to share more VPN connections than hotspots or repeaters, and requires root access. The problem is that the developer does not provide the "Allowed device" feature and the "Server settings" feature in this app.

Proposal

Proposal 1 - Propose "Allowed device" feature in VPN Hotspot app. Add the feature at the top of the Tethering view, and modify that section to give the user access to manually add "Connected device". By adding the MAC address of their android device, and adding the device name as desired, as well as access to connect easily and quickly.

Proposal 2 - Propose the "Server settings" feature in the Hotspot VPN app, add the feature in the application settings section. And grant the user access to set VPN Server manually, by giving them the option of filling in the server address, filling the remote port, and filling the password. And access to connect with the VPN server, before sharing the connection.

Mockups / Examples

Benefits

Benefits 1 - Users of the Hotspot VPN app will increase as the developer adds the features I propose, and the more interesting it uses this app, to share the VPN connection. Because users can use the "Allowed device" feature to add devices that are permitted to connect to their Tethering network manually, by filling in the name, and MAC address of the android device you want to connect to. So users do not have trouble to share the connection, if the device you want to connect, can not connect automatically.

Benefits 2 - And users can also set up VPN Server manually, by accessing the feature in the application settings section. So they can manage the server, remote port, and password of the VPN server you want to use, before sharing the VPN connection. And it's amazing and useful for users.

thanks.

Hey moderator @iqbaladan, server settings are very different from the change server that previously been received in this project. It is very much different, both different ways of doing, and different benefits are obtained.

Indeed, It's different literally but functionally, both are the same. Server settings can also be done with the change server feature by creating additional options for server settings.

In addition, I took this decision after weighing, consulting and asking for second opinions from other Supervisors and Moderators.

ok. thank you

And thank you for respecting my decision. Wating forward your next contribution.
