AndStatus is an Open Source application that can be use to access multiple Social networks, including GNU social, Mastodon, Twitter and Pump.io.
Proposal
I'm proposing that there should be an incognito settings on the app, where you can click and start browsing private on the app.
The feature can be added to the top of the settings page where you can just click the button to go incognito.

Benefits
"incognito mode* is a privacy feature to disable browsing history and the web cache. This will allow users of the app to use the app without storing local data that could be retrieved at a later date. Privacy mode will also disable the storage of data in cookies and Flash cookies.
