The self upvote checkbox on the posting page on the steemit website.

Proposal

Posting something through steemit allows a self upvote via a check box. However this will only allow you to do a 100% upvote and nothing else. If you happen to post something that you objectively don't think is worth 100% it can be a longer process to then have to go upvote it at a later date.

If you implement a sliding bar for the self upvote this will allow the self upvote to be adjusted to the quality of the post.

In order to remove the self upvote you just slide bar all the was left to 0%, or alternatively, keep the checkbox (though spruce it up a bit)

Benefits

Saves time for people who want to self upvote but not upvote 100%, but also it will encourage people to ask themselves is it really worth 100%, linking back to the feeling of upvoteing someone else. Hopefully people will become more giving to other people and more stingy to themselves
