Expected behavior
If you delete a post, Utopian should not longer show it.
Actual behavior
Deleted post can still be loaded in Utopian Frontend.
How to reproduce
Reproducing this bug is easy. Just make a contribution and quickly delete it at Steemit or Busy before it gets a vote. After then, you can notice that the post still can be accessed at Utopian.

Your contribution cannot be approved because it does not follow the Utopian Rules.
After confirming this with the Utopian development team this is expected behaviour and not a bug. The posts are intended to be pulled from the Utopian DB and therefore when deleted from Steemit this will have no effect.
