App crashes when Go To Artist is clicked on

App name : Shuttle Music Player

Expected behavior

Users should be able to be able to navigate to artist info when the 'Artist' is selected under "Go To" option in the app without the app crashing.

Actual behavior

The application closes and crashed when the 'Artist' is selected under the "Go To" option.

How to reproduce

  • Download and install the latest release of the app.

  • Launch the app.

  • Grant all permissions.

  • Navigate to the list of songs and play any song, then click on the 3-horizontal dots in front of a song.

  • Click on the "Go To" option.

  • Click on the "Artist"

It will be observed that the app crashes and closes. Hence, the bug.

Operating system: android version 6.0

    I was able to reproduce the crash. I see the PO has also acknowledged the crash.

    1. The expected and actual behavior were very well written.
    2. The steps you provided were easy to follow. The recording very well complemented the written steps.
    3. Your post title ought to include the app name and version number, as well as a brief description of the occuring issue ([Product Name] [Product Version] – Succinct description of the bug).
    4. Your log on the other hand is unusually short and does not pinpoint the cause.
