This was actually a conversation had today in their discord. @Dporn is currently applying a verification process for featured content creators which also has a rewards boast for them being verified. Also they are reducing the rewards by 50% for spammers to deter that behavior and redistributing it to those verified.

It's an interesting approach and one thing I appreciate about this project is that it is open source and community driven. They are open to constructive conversations and ways to tackle this inevitable abuse.

It'll be interesting to see how this evolves moving forwards.
