Never really seen a whale shark before with my own eyes. So, I need to browse through the internet to understand how it behaves and looks like.

*Colour scheme used, based on the national flag of the Philippines.

Design Process

1-Sketch out the outline for the whale shark.

2-Colour the body of whaleshark with gradient blue.
Blue used: RGB: 43-290-242 (Darker tone), RGB: 156-223-255 (Lighter tone)

3-Add a friendly face right there.

4-Add the signature dots on the body of the whale shark.

5-Add some tone for the whale shark, making it more 3D.

The Final Avatar Piece

6- Create a 1000x1000px template.

7-Create a perfect circle fit to the 1000x1000px template. Colour used- RGB: 178-231-250

8-Create wave pattern using the national flag colour.

9-Mask the pattern according to the circle.

10-Insert the cute Whale Shark into the circle.

11-A final touch of hard light gradient to make the circle more solid.
