Expected behavior
Password store is an android application that is used majorly to store passwords of users, in simple text files. it requires an open pretty good privacy (Open PGP) provider, to provide a key chain, in order for passwords to be encrypted or decrypted with the open PGP standard. Its expected that the application should run smoothly on the mobile device, based on the fact that its a password storage & generation app, which should show no sign of low security or unstability.
Actual behavior
On launching this app, i discovered that the app shuts down or force closes after the app is set up primarily before advanced settings are needed to enhance its full functionality. It happens either when the app is newly downloaded on the mobile device or when the app data is cleared and the app is launched again.
How to reproduce
Download Password store from the F - droid store using this link; https://f-droid.org/packages/com.zeapo.pwdstore/ or from the Google play store using this link; https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.zeapo.pwdstore (i recommend F-droid store for app download)
Launch the app
Choose to use local directory (as a new user of the app)
pick any repository location of your choice. (i used SD Card)
Open a folder or directory for where the passwords you create or store would be stored
You are left on the settings page of the app after all the 5 steps above. click the back button to access the home page of the app.
