A fake Utopian.io account is requesting sbd for upvotes. The account is https://steemit.com/@utopian-oi/transfers. The account already got one 7 sbd transfer. I am not sure if the person who sent it is a victim. Here's a screenshot of this account's transfer tab:

As you can see, he is sending this message in the transfer memo, "If you want to upvote from me, you just send 7 sbd only, send it to my account now".

Please do not send any money to him. His upvotes are worth 1 cent. If you do, he will either keep it to himself without giving a upvote or give you a worthless vote.

It is a scam.

The person who sent SBD to the scammer is @doinglean. His account shows he is posting regularly for last six days but before that, he was quite inactive. The post before the post posted in the sixth day is two months old.

Scammers often use hacked account to do their scamming. So, it might be possible this account is hacked and the scammer used this account to send the sbd transfer to himself.

Why would he do that?

To create the illiosion of legitmacy. If people see that many people are sending transfers to a person claiming to be a vote seller, they are more likely to send their own money.

This is a common tactic used by scammers. I might be totally wrong about the hacking suspicions and this person may be a victim. But it is confirmed that the utopian-oi account is a scam. The real account is utopian-io.
