Today, lets have a look at one of the open-sourced Bitcoin exchange, BlinkTrades.

Currently at a demo stage, the exchange is as easy as it can be. It has a decent UI. Never the less, it's open-sourced and there wont be any monkey business going on. Let's look into it.

Creating an account:

It's easy and simple to create an account. you just need to click on the "signup" option to start with. It's not that hard either. This is some routine work that we do to create a new account everywhere.

This will take you to the signup page. As shown below in the screen shot.

It will now prompt you to confirm your email by re-entering your email ID. Just do it and proceed.

After which, it will ask you to enter the code sent to your email ID. Do it and proceed.

The Exchange:

After all that, you just need to sign-in and you will have the page as below. There are currency (fiat) that you can trade Bitcoin with. To access that, you need to click the red marked area. There are no other crypto to trade with besides the fiat.

My Profile page:

Here you can set up your 2FA and also change your password. Securing your account is very important. You can use the google 2FA.

The Order Book:

As we know, that order book tells us the Buy and sell of a currency. This is no different. Upon clicking "Order Book", you'll be able to see all the history. (Currently you won't see anything as it's still in its demo stage)

You can also access many other options on the right side of your page. From deposits to withdrawals. It's all in one tap. Everything is systematic and not too complicated. Unlike other exchanges which have a very complicated UI.

There's not much in the exchange as of now. We may or can expect something more in the exchange sooner or later once it's fully released. While the central exchanges try to manipulate the markets, having opensourced and decentralized exchange is what we need. Hopefully they add more trading pairs.
