(wordpress) Admin Plugins installation

Good day steemians, today i will be driving you guys down the lane of how to install and uninstall wordpress plugins,
Its not a time wasting, takes only about few minutes,

What are plugins?

And how is it useful to your computers?

Plugins are utilities (softwares) which provide additional functionality to your computer programs.

Plugins enables customization in a computer program.
It adds specific functionality and expands the abilities of that device varies from the kind of plugins you install on your computer.

WordPress plugins

This plugins are written in PHP programming language and add a specific features to the website,
It gives the site the ability to run great functionality and helps improve the site ability to protect, secure or change the overall website, examples of this plugins are yoast SEO, this improves the SEO of you WordPress.
"Heartbeat control"
This Plugins helps to disable or limits the functions of heartbeatAPI in the case of high amounts of CPU post Request.

Wordpress plugins comes in handy,it has more than thousands of free and paid wordpress plugins,
This plugins after installations perform their specific programming, either, virus scanning,shortcodes,cache cleaner.
Free plugins can be installed directly from the admin plugin tab when you click the Install now,
While Paid plugin are uploaded from the admin upload page.

Steps to install
To install plugins with the upload function, all you need do is to download the plugin from the source,
put the plugin files into the WordPress plugin directory (wp-content/plugins directory)

Click on The choose
Browse to the location of the plugin archive that you want to upload to wordpress and select,
Move on to click
Install Now,

A pops up shows, requesting you to locate and pick the zip file (plugin) you want to unpack and install.

You will get a success message

And its active now.

Once installed, you can decide to activate or deactivate it from the WP administration and locate the Plugins details,

Set up the plugins the way it suits you, and also know that plugin settings varies from each other because of the different functions they perform.

Note that an install plugin will not work automatically unless it is activated,
The same way it is activated its the same way it can also be deactivated,

To uninstall it is also easy
Go to the directory where you saved it after donwload(the location you selected when installing) and remove the plugin you want to uninstall, automatically it will be deactivated.

download and Install from the admin area

Free plugins can be downloaded and install directly from the admin area , only in wordpress 2.7 and above
Just click add New.
Choose from the varieties of plugins new,popular, Recommended or search for plugins you wish to install....

Installing a wrong software can slow down your device,so be careful and always install trusted plugins recommended by WordPress.

Also bear in mind not all Plugins are easy to install and so not all comes so freely and easy to deactivate it,you should always read the installation instructions before installing.
