Bug Fix

What was the issue?

Being in early stages, steemlinked first stumbling block was the OAuth integration through steemconnect. You can have a look at the details of the issue here https://utopian.io/utopian-io/@aneilpatel/fix-login-with-steemconnect-issue.

[TL;DR] The platform couldn't connect to steemconnect

What was the solution?

In order to fix it we had to register steemlinked app to the steemconnect platform from here.

This guide explains very well the process while showing also the difference between the two versions of steemconnect.

Finally, after app name and URI(s) parameters configuration, in our case "steemlinked.app" and "Https://steemlinked.herokuapp.com/callback/" (case sensitive), we had to configure the environment variables in both Heroku and the project.
