Turbo c ++ is a very widely used compiler for C and C ++ programming in most schools and colleges. Although there are many other compilers like Eclipse CPP, CInt etc. But there are still many schools and colleges that still use Turbo c ++ as compiler.
The reason why Turbo C ++ can not run under Ubuntu is because turbo C ++ is built for DOS. But there is a way to do it. The solution to this problem is to use DosBox, which is a DOS emulator for Linux O / S. DosBox has a very light repution and stable emulator for DOS based programs and is developed with the greatness of using it to emulate DOS games and programs on linux systems.
For more details, follow these steps:
First of all please open Terinal then install first DOSBox Application in the following way:
$ sudo apt-get install dosbox
Once you have finished installing DosBox now you need a turbo C ++ installation file that you can download here.
After the download is complete then Unzip the turbo C ++ file zip the folder and place the file inside the home / directory-name-user in then a folder called setup and place the file earlier in the folder.
After the above steps are complete, now please open the DOSBox program that was already installed, biyasanya and in the game directory on the application, then type the following command to run the setup of turbo c ++.
mount c ~
c:
cd setup
install.exe
for more details you can see in the picture below.
In the above step, please hit enter only
In the following step you select the destination drive as c and the source path as setup in the next window
Please press C on the keyboard, so C appears as above, then press enter.
In this section, please select Start Installation, then press enter, then wait until the installation is complete.
Well, now you have successfully installed DOSBox Program on your Ubuntu, then you can enter the following commands to run Turbo C ++ program.
c:
cd TC \ bin
tc.exe
now you can use turbo c ++ on your ubuntu ,,, !!!
