Adding more features to screencam app

Components

Screencam is an open source app created for the purpose of recording the activities on an Android screen. It has an embedded editor to make amends to the screen records made using the app. But the editor has just one function of video trimming.

Proposal

I would suggest some of these features be included to the app video editor.
cut middle: An option to cut a part of the video in between which is not needed.
add subtitle: This would enable the inclusion of some write-ups in the video.
crop video: This would allow the user be able to choose a specific area of the video to be saved and made use of.
This options could be placed at the top or bottom of the screen as indicated below.

Mockups / Examples

as seen above, clicking the edit button from the menu shown by long click the screen record, would show the editor seen below. and one can see a variety of functions to utilize in editing the video.

Benefits

There would be a better output of record as the user can make edits to suite his need for recording the screenvideo.
