Timeline to fast forward and rewind song should be added to homahawk music player for more flexible and artistic finishing of the app

Components

Tomahawk music player is an open source application that enables users to connect with various online music communities. But timeline should be added for more artistic finishing.

Proposal

Adding timeline to the app is what I think would be most useful feature to users, because it would play a significant role in enabling user jump to any point in a song, or use it to fast forward and rewind.
However, In the case of fast forwarding user would be in possession to skip through a lengthy intro of a song or a boring part of it of which didn’t trim the mp3 beforehand. In other hand, the feature would also help user to go back to the interesting part of a song to hear it again without starting all over.

This first screenshot is the original design of homahawk player. Of which user can not gain access to timeline scrubbed to forward and rewind songs

Benefits

The availability of this feature would allows user to scrub, fast forward and rewind a song without taking up time to play back a song while listening to hear that interesting part again. They would also benefit by skipping from a boring lyrics or song without pressing to next or take off the desired mood.
Hence, the invention of this feature would make the app looks graphically nice, smarter and flexible as well attracts more user preference to the app.
