Add a feature of options chat box to enable mute,view contact, search and background features.

Components

Linphone is an open source app offering free audio/video calls and text messaging. With Linphone, you can be reachable at any time, even if the app is closed, with a WiFi or 3G/4G internet connection. Text messaging is an important feature available where as I would like to see some additions in the chat box, there is a need of options button so that we can enable features like view contact, search, change background etc.

Proposal

The proposal is about the addition of multiple features in the chat box and for those features we need options button in the chat box, the chat box does have calling option but there is a need for more, In the image below i will show you what is available for us.

Here we can call the contact we are linked to, and we can delete the chat or messages too but how about changing the background of the chat, and the option of muting the notification, and the search option in chat and to check the profile of the contact we are texting for those we need more features which i will show you in next step.

The option button and the features that we have talked about above can be added to the chat box which i will show you in pictures below.

The above picture shows clearly the options to be included and how it should look like, and this is exactly how some applications
already have this feature.

Benefits

Benefits of adding the options button with such features gives us more chat features where we can check profile of the contact and even search in the chat, in addition to this we can have the advantage of the changing the chat backgrounds too to keep it more attractive and soothing, muting notifications is of great advantage as its keep the notifications to mute whenever we are not in the situation to take them. The features will be important for the application's wide use, hope its considered.
