Proposal of features for Wallabag.

Components

Wallabag is an open source self hosted read-it-later app. Unlike to other services, wallabag is free and open source. It's made for you to comfortably read and archive your articles.

Proposal

The proposal is about the addition of various features to the app which are missing in the app. The features are given and explained below.

1. Skip to Front Page This is an important feature to skip to the front page of the article which we have been studying. Quick Skipping to front page is a necessary function.

2. Use of Internal Browser The option for using or not using the internal browser or further surfing or reading of articles or checking things related to it.

3. Enable video playback controls Video playback options are needed because we may check videos on different URLs, some playback options are autoplay, allow full screen etv.

4. Image Viewer For enabling the internal image Viewer to show images this must be included.

5. GIF viewer For opening of the gif's we should use internal viewer for that the option has to be included, we are in need of an internal viewer.

6. Video viewer Video viewer is the option for using new video viewing software or using internal video viewer for viewing important data.

7. Album ViewerThis option is about the viewing of the albums, how they can viewed and which way should we do it , usually kept internal viewer and is viewed in a list.

These features can be shown with the help of an image. In this image i will show you how I have added these options to the wallabag app.

Benefits

The benefits of these apps are many, from being able to jump directly to the front page by simply skipping and saving the time, to using a proper internal browser for any kind of job. We are sometimes more comfortable with using our Personal browser more ,then comes the point of viewing image, GIF, videos and albums, all these can be viewed diferently but here we have an option to view it with our internal viewers by giving access to them avoiding the rest. The features explained can make our article reading easier and give us more diversity, Additions can be of good importance, Thankyou.
