Requesting for import notes features for Omni Notes open-source application

This suggestion is for Omni Notes open-source application.

Wow. This app is very awesome. The looks and design is very amazing and very easy to use, and also very useful to everyone. With this amazing note writing app, our life will be easier in recording important events that needed to be remember.

But, there still one important features that is missing in the latest version of the application. And this I asked for.

Features request

I am requesting a features enhancement for Omni Notes application about adding an import notes features.

As of this moment of writing this article, the latest version of this article is updated on March 11, 2017. Now, I think this is the right time already for requesting another update with new features added? Well, that will be very amazing, to think also that this application is built with a great design for the user.

Well, the app will become more amazing if the mentioned open-source application will let user to import his/her existing notes that was saved in their phone. That's very great, right?

But, as of now, no user can import there existing notes that was saved in their phone storage as the application didn't support it yet.

As seen in the photo above, there is only currently three features available for now, and that is Photo, Checklist and Text note. But importing existing notes is not yet available.

I hope it will be added soon because I have reasons why this features is very important.

Importance of this features

Well, this very make sense because their will be some user of this application that has existing notes that was created in the other app or maybe in the built-in app of their Android Smartphones. Like in my case, I do have save notes in my internal storage memory but I cannot import it on the application for now and I hope I can in next days.

Another thing is, there might be some user also that making a very important notes in there previous phone and they wanted to export it to another device. Because importing existing notes is much more easier than copy-pasting the article.
