The mentioned open-source application is a good way to record important events but in just limited way because of the absence of some important features for effective recording.

I am requesting for Easy Sound Recorder an open-source application to add Pause button for the recording process.

The problem for now, as of the latest version of the application, it doesn't have Pause support yet. Therefore, the recording process is continuous and cannot be pause during unimportant matter.

Directly speaking, the application recording process is all about start and stop. As the important matter will be explain below.

If you press the Mic button, or the highlighted part of the photo below, the recording process will start directly.

During the recording process, there is only Stop button available. Which mean, pressing the button will end the recording process automatically.

The importance of Pause button

Now, this is the most important part of this suggestion. The Pause button for me is very important because it is the only way to pause the recording process without stopping it. Which means, the recording was just pause only and can be still continue later on.

To understand it properly, let me cite an example. Me was recording an important news program about the coming typhoon that is live in the radio. Now, we cannot deny the fact that there will always be an advertisement in the program. The advertisement portion of the program is not important, that's why I have to pause the recording process for awhile during advertisement and enable it again if the programs back.

Now, this is the problem because I can't pause the recording process yet using the Easy Sound Recorder because the application doesn't have Pause button support yet.
