Financius, Best App To Track and Control Your Finance

Have you ever experienced, before the end of the month you don’t have any money left? Or maybe still have some but you don’t know where the rest of it or where you have spent it to?
There are cases where on first day of the month people get their salary but in few day after they are left with almost nothing, while the next month is still far away? People are “suffering” from this problem.

Once I even took a class where they taught us how to be a good financial manager. The tips were simple but too manual. Especially as we are in the digital era, everything is done digitally. If I could shop and pay with my card, why bother to go the atm machine and withdraw cash. That is just one example. But then this behaviour would lead to overconsumption. And that’s what we are trying to prevent from happening.

Here, I would like to introduce to all stemian, the use of financial tracker called Financius

What is it?

Financius is as android app for finance tracking tool. The app will track where we have spent the money too, and check the balance that we have for that specific time.

How to use the app?

The app can downloaded from google play store. Once you finish downloading it, go into accounts and log in the app using your gmail account. Take a look at the image below.

Before you start adding any balance into your account, there will no information of your financial situation. Below, I would like to show you how the initial state of the app .

Next, go into setting tab and edit the following information :

• Currencies you want to use. There is EUR , GBP , and so on. I use IDR for Indonesian Rupiah. Be careful, even we use it Rp for the currency, but in international we should use IDR.
• Period. The choices are dayly, weekly, monthly, or yearly.
• Categories. There are already list of it, but if you need more, click + sign at the right corner. There is also salary at the bottom.

For the currencies, in my tutorial, I use EUR instead of IDR.

So far, we are done with the initial step of using the app

Then, you need to add the income, the transaction that will spend money in it into the app. All you have to do is go to transaction tab. Take a look at the image below

First, add amount of money you want to add. Then choose the tag. For the first time, I would add 1000 Euro for salary of December, choose monthly period, and double click on both statement before you save it. You can add more transactions with different categories and so on.

All those transactions will be shown in the report tab, how much have you spent or allocated for the month. If the amount of transactions is more that salary or the income, it will show in minus.

In overview tab, you could see all the information of your financial status, and the trends of spending.

Other Features of Financius

The app has more features, as follows :
• Enable to use for multiple money accounts.
• Has more than one currencies.
• Possible of adding expense, income, and transfers between accounts.
• User can customize their categories.
• Change periods for reports.
• The data can be backed up to user device or Google Drive™.
• Ad free.

Well.. having a very good app and no add, what else can you ask for a free app? I am glad to use this app and I find it very useful, and easy to use.
