Talking with @helo today I had a great idea which would be helpful for developers and as well, would make their lives easier.
Current situation:
At the moment the process of making the Utopian.io contributions is the following:
- Code a lot of interesting and helpful things for a project;
- Open a pull request;
- Fill in the pull-request with the required data like issues to close and what the pull request does;
- Open the Utopian.io site;
- Navigate to the development contributions;
- Fill in the Form;
- Open it several times to check if it has been approved.
The idea:
My idea would be facilitating this process with an utopian.io Github plugin.
Since developers already write the descriptions of their pull requests, those could already contain the full utopian.io post including the connecting pull requests and tags.
After the pull request has been merged this could directly be pushed to utopian.io (if the format is correct, else notify with an email).
The Plugin could then also already notify the dev if his contribution has been accepted commenting it under the merged pull request.
Additionally, the plugin could notify if a pull request can be posted when merged since the style guidelines have been met.
(Minimum number of lines, photos, tags, issues etc).
Why would this be good?
This would be very helpful out for several reasons:
- This would make it way simpler for devs to contribute since it doesn't mean a lot of additional work.
- This would improve the quality of the pull request descriptions since people want their contribution accepted.
- This could bring more attention to utopian.io since the pull request could link to Steem as well as Utopian.io
- This would help the moderators to identify if the person really did the pull request.
I hope you liked my suggestion and maybe someone (maybe even me) will think about implementing it to make our lives easier.

Your suggestion would be very helpful in translation as well, as it requires github pull request.
