Thank you for your distinguishable effort and contribution to the open source community.

In blog posts category, contributions are considered in 3 different types which are explained in the Utopian Guidelines in detail. For those who are not a member of the project team, there is only one considerable submission type in the category, which is Project Promotion. Since the contribution does not fit the requirements of the type, it is not considered as a blog post.

Blog-Posts Guidelines Reference:

  • Project promotion contributions must include author's personal experience with the project to be considered for potential reward. Blog post with information processed from official sites and materials, and with no additional value will not be considered for potential reward. General promotion posts about the project are not to be considered for potential reward. We highly encourage promotion of new features, events and innovations of the project.

Although, your contribution is considerable under the tutorial category, so I reviewed it under the guidelines of the category. As stated in the guidelines, on-screen instructions are not considered as proper tutorials but in this contribution it is obvious that there is significant effort and willingness to teach which is the key point of the category. Therefore, this contribution is found to be considerable in voting phase.

Tutorials Guidelines Reference:

  • Submissions presenting content creation and simple on-screen instruction will not be considered for potential reward.

I suggest you to call upon Utopian Guidelines before your future contributions to make sure that your submissions are properly fitting one of the categories. In this case, trying to fit into tutorials would be wiser.

About the content itself, I think it would be better to limit the quantity of screenshots with a ratio to text, to provide a better presentation and readability. Also quality of the visuals obviously needs some rework.

I strongly recommend you to add some more detailed structure to the content with using subheaders to increase the followability and fluency of reading experience. Besides, you have nice writing skills to provide readers insightful tutorials. I will be waiting for your future contributions.

I hope those are enough to help you through. Utopian appreciates your efforts!

Your contribution has been evaluated according to Utopian policies and guidelines, as well as a predefined set of questions pertaining to the category.
