You can consider drafting an outline with step by step procedure so that your learners can follow along as they view your video tutorial.
When appropriate, you can show the tutorial in graphical context so that users can focus on the main points of your tutorial
For video tutorials, if extra arrows and boxes are added to your teaching points, they always add value and engagement for the learner.
