Introduction
My name is Miguel Dos Reis, I'm from Venezuela and I live in Portugal. I chose the Moodle project because I have already used moodle before, and I can say that Moodle brings to the open source world a very useful tool to optimize the educational process.
Campaign Strategy
This time, i chose to show the advertising to an specific group of people: Teachers, Spanish speakers, from South and Central America (Less Venezuela, Brazil), the reasons to exclude those countries are:
- Venezuela: The serious economic situation in my native country makes teachers (and people in general) have other priorities than the problems that are trying to solve with this project. This strongly influences the performance of advertising. Taking into consideration that, in addition, the performance of the previous advertising for moodle in Venezuela in relation to other countries was considerably lower.
- Brazil: The target language does not match the official language in this country
To reduce the target audience to a more relevant one, add the following conditions for the advertising to be shown:
People who match at least one of the following:
- Interest: Blackboard
- Interest: Open-Source software
- Interest: University
- Interest: eLearning Industry
and must also match at least one of the following:
- Work: Education and Libraries
- Job Title: Elementary Teacher
- Job Title: Principal teacher
in this way we make sure that our public work in the education sector, and also have interest in open source software or other educational platforms
Given the data collected in part 2, we saw how the older male audience is more interested in the project than the rest, so this time it will be shown to men over 40 years old

Tip: To reduce the cost of advertising on Facebook, it is advisable to have a public that is easier to reach. For example: Advertising costs during this period was lower when I deactivated the option to only show the ad to people connected in Wi-Fi, this made it easier for my audience to access, and due to that, the cost per result decreased.
