In the last two and a half years, Internet service providers have blocked 11,445 websites under the directive of the Telecom Department (DoT). India's telecommunications minister Manoj Sinha recently told the information in parliament. News PTI.Manoj Sinha told the Lok Sabha that on January 1, 2016, the internet service providers have blocked 11,45 websites, URLs and web pages on the request of the DOOT from January 1, to the present time. There were instructions for the Ministry of Information Technology and the court to stop them.
Internet service providers have been instructed to find out the possible ways to stop Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, telegram and A-Mobile Mobile apps in a recent DOOT.
