Internet Explorer 11: Searchbar not visible

Expected behavior

There should be the searchbar as screenshoted in Chrome below

Actual behavior

There is no visible searchbar. Also the placeholder text which should be there is not showing.

How to reproduce

Use the Internet Explorer and go to https://steemit.com/
Check for the Searchbar

  • Browser:
    Intenet Explorer 11 on Windows 10

When you manage to get on the search, you will see a blank white site. I guess that is not the intended behavior since you cannot search at all there.

          Did you try to search? Besides the fact that you cannot enter anything, if you manage to get on the search site you see this...

          As you can see, there is nothing! White site, i dont think this is intended behavior :) pls let me know if it is still only a cosmetic issue.

            Hi, oh I see. I tested in Edge, and it doesn't break the search feature. However, in IE, it breaks. so Could you change the title to specifically IE ?
