Idea: Enhancing "Edit" feature in Steemit

Make Things Better

There is always a scope of improvement. Same implies in Steemit as well.

Editing is a feature to do the modification on any anything. Currently, Steemit also provide Edit option to the user to do correction on the post after the content gets posted. Refer below image. The feature is available right at the bottom of the post.

The user can click on it and make necessary correction on the content. To Make Things Better in the content,the user might be interested to include many other pictures in his content. As there is always scope of improvisation.

However, there is still a limitation in the Edit option. Steemit allows editing option only on the content i.e the text part. Currently the user is not allowed to edit the images i.e either uploading new images changing the existing images.

The user unable to make any modification in the pictorial content or neither able to add any new pictures after posting in the content. Refer below there is no upload option available upon clicking edit (as shown in previous image).

Suggestion

I would suggest to develop the Edit feature with uploading images/pictures as well. As there are no delete options, at least provide the user with the complete modification rights. Let the user get the correction done as per their choice in the content or in the images.

The feature of image modification is currently available in Utopian.io Refer below:

The same feature should also be made available to the user in Steemit as well. If the user wanted to add more pictures in Steemit content, he can do that as well along with the content (text) editing after posting within a certain time frame.

The user should be able to edit the content as well as the images through the Edit option in Steemit.
