Add resize and add photo feature to phimp.me

Components

Phimp.me is an open source camera and photo editor application.
Being a photo editor, it has very little features compared to other leading photo editors.

Photo editing is very common and people around the world use photo editors in day to day lives. Therefore photo editors must come with a complete package of options and features.

Proposal

My suggestion consists of implementation of two features:

Feature 1

• Ability to resize a photo

Resizing a photo means to change the size of the photo.
We can increase or decrease the size of a photo with this feature.

We come across a lot of scenarios where we have to upload a particular size of the photo.
For example, when you upload a thumbnail in @dlive,you are required to upload a file not more than 1mb.
Keeping the above problem in view, we should have an option to resize photos.

Feature 2

• Ability to add photo on an existing photo

The above feature is one of the most used features of the photo editor applications and in phimp.me this feature is missing.

Add photo option means that you are abke to add other photos to a photo you are editing.
This feature is a must have in photo editor applications.

The above picture shows the implementation of add photo feature and is taken from a leading photo editor.

Benefits

• Resize option will help solve the problem of changing size of a photo.
  We will be able to change the size without fuss in phimp.me application.

• Add photo option will help add new photos to a particular photo and make collages.
  We will not be forced to use other applications for this option.
