The past few weeks have been big for the Hunt platform and team. Big successes have been made and new goals achieved. It's been Three weeks of IEOs on different exchanges, three weeks of promoting steem to the crypto world, and 3 weeks of exposing the steem dapps to the crypto community. A lot of people outside the steem blockchain has always thought steem to be Steemit, but the Hunt platform is starting to change that mentality by showing that great dapps do exist on the steem blockchain.
These successes have drawn numerous investors to Steemhunt which will directly bring more investors to the steem blockchain. Not just investors, it has also grown the monthly users of the Hunt platform by a mile. As at January, steemhunt had 60k monthly active users with an ATH of 100k MAU as at October 2018. Since the IEOs began, that number has risen to 400k MAU. That's over 600% rise. I'm anticipating 1million MAU by the end of the month, considering the way the numbers have been rising.
Steemhubt IEOs
On my last post about steemhunt, where I talked about the first two exchanges on which the IEOs would take place, and I predicted great success especially on Probit due to the addition of Steem as a supported purchasing currency. The outcomes were by far better than what I had in mind then. The hunt token IEO has been having constant sell outs in minutes and seconds. Let's look at a broad review of how the IEOs have been conducted on each exchange and the upcoming ones.
Hunt Token IEO on IDCM
This IEO took place from March 14th 12.00 to March 18th 23:59 KST with a total sales amount of 3.75 million hunt tokens. This was the beginning of success for the Hunt token IEO. The first round of the Hunt token IEO on IDCM exchange sold out in 3 minutes. After the sellout, some investors were still interested in purchasing the token, so a second round was initiated which sold out to 46%. So in total, the IDCM exchange sold up to 146%.
This IEO came with some bonus of up to 6000$ worth of hunt tokens. The first 30 people to purchase over 300$ worth of Hunt tokens each received 5000 hunt tokens (100$) as a bonus. The top 5 buyers also had bonus which when added up made the rest 3,000$ worth of hunt tokens.
At the end of the IEO, 5.5 million hunt tokens were sold worth $110k (21.7808 btc, 166.7 eth, 740,000 IT).
Hunt Token IEO on Probit
The Probit IEO took place from March 22nd, 2019, 12:00 KST - March 26th, 2019, 23:59 KST, with a total sale amount of 7.5million hunt tokens. This IEO was not only big for the Hunt platform, it was also big for the steem blockchain on general. This was the first ever IEO which accepted steem as a purchasing coin for the IEO. The usual currencies accepted have always been Eth, Btc and the token of that exchange.
The first round of 3,025,000 hunt tokens( $60,500) sold out in 11 seconds. This was even bigger than the initial IDCM IEO. The same type of bonus set on IDCM was also done on Probit, so some investors took the opportunity to take the bonus and bought large amounts. There was also a 1% referral bonus during the Probit IEO, but you had to complete your KYC before you could be a beneficiary of any of the bonuses.
Probit also listed Steem on their exchange. Steem now has trading pairs with KRW, BTC, and USDT on Probit. I still anticipate the listing of hunt tokens on these exchanges also.
Hunt Token IEO on Daybit Exchange
Daybit was the first exchange which came into agreement with the hunt platform run their IEOs through the Memorandum of Agreement which the Hunt team presented. They also agreed to list steem and SBD which they have already done. In the Memorandum of Agreement, Daybit also agreed to create steem trading pairs for SMTs in the nearest future.
A hunt token airdrop(1k Hunt) was done for the first 100 people who deposited over 200 steem on Daybit exchange.
The first Round of the Daybit exchange ran on April 1st and sold out in 20 secs with a hardcap of 4 million hunt tokens. With the IEO price that should be about $80k.
The Second round which held on April 2nd had an even better stat. It was sold out in 11 seconds. This is proof of higher demand for hunt tokens on the Daybit exchange since it is going to list there after the IEOs. The second round had a hardcap of 2 million hunt tokens. The first and second rounds were purchased with only Day token.
- The third round is scheduled to start on April 8th 12:00 KST and this round will support purchase with Steem, EOS, BTC and ETH.
My predictions for the third round is a 5 seconds sell out. If it could have such stats when purchase was only through Day token, it can only get better when other top currencies are supported for purchase.
The Hunt team has also decided to utilize the Daybit exchange API for the Reviewhunt project payment solution for companies. So The Hunt team will automatically connect the demand from companies to the buy orders on Daybit and create buy orders for the companies. This will help maintain token liquidity with a steady demand for the token.
What is Forthcoming
This year is packed up with so many activities for the Hunt platform. Since January up till now, it has already seen massive growth and more is yet to come. After successful completion of IEOs and listing, the launch of the Reviewhunt platform will be the next according to the roadmap. As you can see, plans are already being made to help the Reviewhunt hunt have a smooth start on the blockchain.
Reviewhunt will be a platform where makers/producers will utilize the powers of product influencers to push their new products into the market. It will be a bounty platform where makers will pay the product influencers for their promotions on other social media.
Utilizing the Daybit API, the companies will easily purchase the Hunt tokens with which they will run their bounties on the Reviewhunt platform. To know more about Reviewhunt, read my blog here.
Conclusion
Looking at the pace at which the Hunt platform has been growing, it's a sign of hardworking, smart and dedicated team members. There are many projects out there with great ideas but bad management which eventually leads to the project's downfall. The steem blockchain has always been a blockchain built on its community activities and the Hunt platform stocked to that mantra. The large rise of the MAU to 400k is enough proof of large community involvement. With an average of 180 hunt posts done every day on the platform, good moderation team and influencer team (constantly rotated with the best), the project can only move forward.

Hello, @tony-duke!
Thank you for this informative, well-structured blog post. You did a really good job in providing valuable information about the recent developments, and I appreciate the effort. Keep up the good work.
On the content side, even though I like all the information provided, I have to admit that I wanted to read a bit more about your personal views. Regardless, the post contains useful information about the project and what's been going on, and you managed to combine all the data with useful metrics.
That said, the post did have issues of grammar and style, but not to the level where it hurt the reading experience. I would be happy to cite a few examples in a follow-up comment, if you wish.
I look forward to your next contribution.
