Components
This is a simple reflex-oriented arcade game for Android. It was written with usage of Android SDK for Android 2.3.3 and newer. It uses Canvas to draw things on the display and it was designed to be resolution independent.
The game mechanic is very simple. Player has to tap as many hamsters randomly appearing on a board as he can. For each tapped hamster he receives 10 points. For each missed hamster he loses 100 points. Additionally, tapping a bunny causes a loss of 1000 points. Difficulty gradually rises over time as everything gets surprisingly faster.
Proposal
Games that test how fast you are are great and fun to play but what makes them even greater is continuity, it would be nice to pause the game in order to do something else and then return when ready. I installed the game and played it but I discovered that there was no pause button, clicking the arrow on the top right restarts the game completely and this is quite stressful.
Mockups / Examples
Below is a screenshot of the game without my suggested feature.
This is what the feature should look like if implemented
Benefits
This feature will make it possible for users to pause the game and continue at a later time without having to start from the very beginning all over again.
