This is my new proposed icon design for the android application "Blind Communicator", designed using Adobe Illustrator. The features of this app is right down below:
This app helps blind users use their smartphones/tablet by enabling a voice guide that tells every action performed by their devices. Additional information can be found here.
Design Concept:
The idea was to create a simple and modern icon design. I used an eyeglass as the basis of the icon and since it is a communicator, a sound wave is used to illustrate the app's purpose.

Benefits / Improvements
Design is cleaner and modern and brings a fresh look to the Blind Communicator. It is much easier for the eyes compared to the current logo and it is easily associatable to the use of the app.
