• ReactOS is a free and open-sourced operating system based on the Windows NT architecture, providing support for existing applications and drivers, and an alternative to the current dominant consumer operating system.

• While ReactOS' source availability and current usage is mostly intended for programmers to expand and improve on, you don't need to be a rocket scientist to use it, and in its final state will be a consumer friendly OS. If you've used Windows before, you'll find yourself in a familiar environment with ReactOS.

• This is my first contribution to the ReactOS project.

• I began this project with some experience thanks to the Swarmops project.

• Also, I tried to give my presentation a new look. And I will try as hard as I can to improve its quality.

• I began my first contribution with a few word number, just to give myself the opportunity to well understand the project context.

• The translation done in this part was on the following file :

   ¤ en-US.rc

• This file contains a lot of short strings, which make the translation harder. However, the strings translated had a clear context.

• The file context was about counties names, some references, ISO certifications, and their description.

• I have discovered new counties names and their locations on the Map, the thing that makes me feel better because every day I feel myself learning new things.

     • The translation is done from English to French.

• Total word count : 37 669 words.

• Tatal words translated in this contibution : 751 words.

• Number of untranslated words : 28 words.

• Final count : 723words.
