About GPSUp

This is a simple application for GPS fixing, testing GPS, auto-update A-GPS data, GPS Quick Start, see the current coordinates, speed, precision positioning and information on the level of each detected satellite signal.
Can be used in conjunction with the navigation software or games requiring geolocation. In the presence of the Internet much faster it detects the GPS signal and increases the accuracy of the signal.

I've contacted the project owner to have the permission to design a new icon and logo for the application , so after his acceptance i designed a new one, send it through Github issue and he liked it and used it as well :D

Benefits / Improvements

• The old icon is just a black background with a green text .
• The new logo is a combination between the placeholder ( GPS sign ) and the up arrow based on the name of the application ( GPSUp ).
• The new icon has a catchy colors to let the users download it and use it as well.
• It's simple, memorable and scalable .
