Clicking synchronize when user is offline makes the application to hang for some time

Expected behavior

Clicking "synchronize" on the menu when the user is offline, is suppose to display an error message, then the user can go on with their activities on the application.

Actual behavior

Clicking on "synchronize" when the user is offline makes the application hang for some time, thus, making the buttons unclickable during this hanging period.

How to reproduce

1. Download Joplin Notes;
2. Launch the application;
3. Click on the menu by the right top of the application;
4. Ensure you are offline;
5. Click on the "synchronize" option on the menu. An error message will come up, then other buttons (like back, menu) won't be functional for some time.
