Sometime ago I found this. A post from cloh76 with a request for a logo for his whalesong bot project. I did create a logo at first. But @Kiaazad did not agree with my methods of creating it. He apparently was sitting next to me while I was creating it. None the less I did not receive a chance to redo or even improve on it. As he closed the utopian contribution post after only 5-6 hours.
None the less I am back with another contribution to this awesome project.
Everything in this illustrator file is created by me from scratch (just not the sol key or treble chef, i found that in my stocks and can't verify if i actualy made it myself). I used references of whales but I did not trace or anything else for that matter.
My idea was simple. We needed a whale and something to resemble the song.
First a basic shape is created
Then we add some darkening on top of the whale
The eye is added and some glows
All the whales had these strange lines on there mouth so here they are :D
The first notes are added
Some more notes
Some glows on the notes
The notes are visible on all except for the smallest sizes as there they become just some dots.
As @kiaazad did not allow me to remake or readjust the logo I post the result here.

I guess they are ignoring it. Espoem directs me to deveerei, and deveerei is not responding. In the private chat where we can't respond they seem to be discussing but nothing is finalized.

The whale one looks great, the other one at the bottom looks a bit phalic... either that or a Key with a moustache.

The bottom one is a remake of the one i made before. Or more of a edit and smaller version. Did not bother with coloring on that one :)
