This past week my family and I went down to Davenport, Florida for a staycation with our two little ones that are turning 2 and 6. We went with my in-laws and my brother-in-law and his fiance.
The house was huge and had it's own screened in pool and hot tub and the garage had been converted into a game room with a pool table, fooseball, air hockey and darts.
We did a bunch of groceries and just enjoyed our time in for most of the trip but the most special parts of the trip were that we took our daughter to Magic Kingdom for two days, the most magical places on the planet. She loved it even though the park still isn't doing any characters at the park for meet and greets due to covid. My family also went to Blizzard Beach for a day while I took a day trip up to Daytona Beach to see some family.
All in all it was an amazing trip and we had a blast, but it's also good to be home. There really is no place like home.
