My kids made their descion

in vaccinations •  7 years ago

Earlier in my posts I mentioned that my kids were having the debate about whether or not they were going to vaccinate. They sat on the fence for a long time weighing out the costs of both. They seriously studied the costs and benefits of both. In the end the fear of not getting their baby vaccinated won. They did not want to bring any negative attention to themselves that would alert the authorities of their choices. So they went along with the mainstream against their better judgement and did it.

I was quite surprised at the way the nurse who did it was so convinced that everything she was injecting into the baby was the sworn truth of health. She was so scripted in her conversation that I thought to myself they must have a special course on how to pursuay the parents into thinking they are doing good. My daughter in law went in with the decision only to give what was absolute necessary and instead ended up giving him everything the nurse told her to. Including a complete live virus that could possibly make anyone of us that came in contact of his body fluids sick.

My daughter in law asked me to hold him through the process. I never felt so conflicted in my life. One piece of me wanted to run right out of the office and the other wanted to be the mother in law who respected my kids descions. It broke my heart when he cried from the needle and I silently prayed for God to protect our little guy and keep him from harm.

I so wish that life could be lived without the fear of other's opinions and that we could actually live a life of freedom and choice. But until then people will be forced to make descions out of force and fear. Even when their is evidence to prove that something is truly unsafe. The thought that my grandson may or may not become one of the statistics drives me crazy. I appreciate that there are times that we should be forced to listen to authority but not when we are playing russian roulette with our children.

i believe vaccination serves both good and bad, the advantage would be , it makes the body immune to certain sickness. the Bad part would be, well too much vaccination will not allow the body to naturally fight the disease.
So it really depends on the situation and what kind of vaccination you get.

Wish you and your family have a pleasant 2018! Your grandchild will grow wonderfully and make you the happiest grandmother ever!!!!
