Debunking Debunked!

in vaccines •  7 years ago

We couldn't wait to do a show debunking the popular fake science blog 'debunked'. Do these scientist know you can't prove a negative? Our dear friend Liam Scheff often spoke of 'scientisms' and how what is being pushed off today as 'science' is in fact a religious belief. We'd love to hear what you all think about this one, we did it without any guests and it was the last podcast we did on our old network UCY.tv.

Truther Talk Episode 109: April Boden and Virstyne Henry take the propaganda on by debunking the so-called debunkers.
You won’t want to miss this as the ladies will be taking an indefinite hiatus from the pod-cast in order to pursue other adventures. Since the powers that be can’t get rid of us that easy, Truther Talk social media pages and website will remain up.
Please stay tuned as we will be announcing exciting new projects. Heart-felt thank you to all our loyal listeners who have helped make this project such a success! Until next time… Peace, truth & love
P.S. Please continue to read special outline and critical thinking tools for today’s show wink emoticon “You can choose to ignore reality, but you can’t ignore the consequences of ignoring reality.” Ayn Rand (needs to follow her own advice)

Introduction to Astroturfing Astroturf Creating the impression of public support by paying people in the public to pretend to be supportive.
The false support can take the form of letters to the editor, postings on message boards in response to criticism, and writing to politicians in support of the cause.
Astroturfing is the opposite of “grassroots”, genuine public support of an issue. Mike, admit you just got caught astroturfing. You’re just pimping your own blog. Microsoft didn’t have grassroots support, so they created astroturf support.
