Valentine is here again

So today is Valentine. You and I know that you do not mean every word you profess to your significant other. We said the same words to someone different last year. Do people really feel the same way about two distinct individuals?

Love gives of itself without expecting in return.

That's what we are told but we do not do this often, do we? I mean, no farmer plants seeds and expects nothing. Or maybe the aforestated thought isn't applicable in this sense?

I have recently had my share of shipwreck but somehow we found our way around setting sail while we built a better ship. Stop perceiving that I meant to say I am a different specie of my kind. I have simply had one too many relationship crisis and have learnt quite a lot.

Giving yourself, doesn't mean blindly undoing yourself...

When you give yourself, you do not do so blindly like they want to make us believe that Love is blind. This love sees but decides to ignore.

I hold the thought and opinion that we all do this to aid the growth of our spouse or partner.

This is Valentine and it shouldn't always be about you two. Please get a dog or put out your SBDs and Upvotes... Haha haha... Share a laugh with a stranger... Life is serious enough...
