Lapu-lapu is the first famous person written in our Philippine history who bravely and galantly defended our land again and our race against foreign invaders on April 27, 1521 known as the "Battle of Mactan" that resulted to the death of Ferdinand Magellan and the defeat of his Spanish and Portuguese forces.
