After a very long time I decided to write an entry here again! The reason for this are two diary entries, which I prescribed at Word to upload on the next internet connection. Somehow I didn't get around to it again..... And from then on I didn't write anything here every day, but rather shorter summaries every few weeks. Have fun reading it!
Hello love her. Today we set off on the Fijis. I. e. get out very early in the morning, so that you can get to the airport in time and check in. Then I stood there with the woman, and she looks at me so skeptically. I first thought that there was an error in my booking and that didn't work out and saw me in Brisbane for several days, but after 15 minutes of waiting she gave me the boarding ticket and I could go on. In retrospect it turned out that she wanted to give up my backpack as a special baggage and wanted to take my money, but she didn't have it. So I had some problems with that until now..... Now well off into the plane and then you have already seen out of the window all the little islets and we have landed. The first word that comes close is BULA! Hello and so on. Just had to wait three quarters of an hour until I got my entry stamp and with it the visa, and the next hurdle was to find the driver from the hostel who was supposed to pick me up for lau there. Thought he was gone again, because it took me so long to get there, but after 1,000 taxi drivers assured me that nobody would ever come and offer me a $13 trip, find the driver and go to the hostel. Is of course only what you need here, but that's all you can expect for about 8€ a night. A bed ne shower and fan. That's why I'm in a 5-bed villa where everyone's free, except mine.
The first thing I wanted to see was the beach and it's only 150m away. Since you can't lock up here, I took all my valuables and left. And you can hardly believe it, but the water that's here is really bathtub warmth! It can be put up with indoors, but unfortunately at 30°C there is no more refreshment. Well, in the evening I met two other German-speaking travellers in the restaurant and talked to them the rest of the evening. Tired to death but still fascinated by being on Fiji I went to bed at 12 o' clock, where I now prescribe this article at Word, because there is no internet here......
