I love street art but I hate vandalism. I can think of nothing more offensive than to put some garbage on someone else's property without permission, especially if it contains zero talent and doesn't beautify anything. When I see stuff like this it just makes me angry because not only are these people devoid of talent, they are also defacing something that someone else paid for and probably cares about too.
These little juice and tea stands are all over the place in Da Nang, and all the other places I have been in Vietnam. They are normally just shops that make very little money, have a few plastic chairs for people to sit on and the drinks are damn near free they are so cheap. So while it irritates me whenever someone does some talentless tagging like this in any capacity anyway, it makes me more upset when it is done to the property of someone that is already probably very poor themselves.
This is right around the corner from the same juice stand and while it at least has some talent to it, it is ugly and poorly done on something that they wouldn't have had permission to do it on.
I love street art and when I get a chance to witness it being done I am delighted to see it happening because it is a real skill that so few people possess. These "pieces" though, are pure garbage and if I caught the people in the process of doing it I would help anyone who would chase the perpetrators down and maybe even give them a kicking.

We need more respect in the world and this sort of garbage is the opposite of that. Even if a person is talented, doing this sort of vandalism to someone else's hard-earned property is unacceptable and it makes me angry when I see it. If someone out there is the type of person that does stuff like this, just know that I, and most of the world, thinks you are the scum of the earth.
