Roman is getting a new air vent.

Some have been asking for updates on Roman and the progress being made.

This is Roman my motorhome.

Roman was fitted with a passive vent in the roof that you can open up to let air flow out of to help vent out the bus and keep fresh air flowing. This vent was getting tired and had a broken handle and the top was rattling around in the breeze.

So I ordered a new vent that has an electrically operated fan assist. With 3 speeds to push air out and two speeds if you want to pull air into the bus from the top. I think this fan assisted vent will be very much appreciated on hot and still air day's and nights. Also will be great to vent cooking smells etc from the bus.

Trying to remove the old vent by cutting through the silicon that was used to seal it with out scratching the paint on the roof.

I am in the progress of fitting the new vent as I type this some anti rust paint is drying. I will make another post on fitting the new vent tomorrow if the weather stay dry enough to get the job completed.
