Hi steemian and vapers, lorenzothevaper is here, and today i'll explain to you two different types of vaping.
Contrary to what one might think, not all electronic cigarette liquids are "suitable" for all electronic cigarettes. There are substantial differences between the various atomizers that are used to vaporize liquids and it is therefore conceivable that there are also differences in the liquids themselves (in addition to the aromatic ones). How can we therefore understand which are the best liquids for our electronic cigarette? There are many variables to consider but i will show below some insights that could prove useful to maximize the gratification in vape and maybe find the best liquid for your electronic cigarette.
Mouth hit VS Lung Hit
The "mouth hit" is that way of vaping that emulates the cigarette pull, while the "lung hit" is the direct inhalation of the steam in the lungs without stopping it first in the mouth. Who prefers a mouth hit, therefore, will not need atomizers with 8 coils and enormously airy as opposed to those who are looking for a massive production of steam and therefore will not want tight air flows, single coil and low power.
In short, we can divide the vaping products into two broad categories:
Mouth Hit products (MTL - Mouth to Lung)
Lung Hit products ( DLH - Direct Lung Hit)
We are particularly interested in the differences between mouth and lung atomizers, we see the main ones:
MTL
DLH
Mouth Hit (MTL)
- Return an experience similar to "cigarette shooting"
- They have an adjustable but rather narrow airflow
- They have smaller liquid supply channels
- In general they allow the use of higher nicotine gradations
- They usually require the use of resistors higher than 1.0 ohms
- They need less power and consume less liquid
Lung Hit (DHL)
- Designed to generate large volumes of steam
- The airflow is usually adjustable until it is very open
- They have larger liquid supply channels
- Used with low levels of nicotine to avoid too "scratchy" shots
- Use one or more resistors less than 1.0 ohms (Sub-Ohm)
- They need more power and consume more liquid
By comparing the two tables we can see that there are substantial differences between an atomizer, tomorrow i''l create a post about the differences between the liquids, and how it influences our vaping!
