I show you the SUPER-EASY way to get into DIY and start saving tons of cash on your vaping eliquid

DIY, the process of mixing your own eliquid, can reduce your eliquid costs considerably, but the process can seem daunting. However, by using a combination of a pre-mixed nicotine base and pre-mixed flavor concentrates, you can enjoy the savings, great flavors, and a fairly hassle-free process.

The first step is to head over to Nicotine River and choose a base liquid in the nicotine level (3mg, 6mg, etc) of your choice. You can also specify pure PG, pure VG, or a 50/50 mix. Note that flavors tend to be suspended in PG, so if for example your base is pure VG, and your flavor is mixed at 15%, this will yield an 85VG/15PG mix. Also, the larger quantity of base liquid you buy, the more economical.

You should also get a few 5ml syringes, and empty glass bottles (or you can use saved and cleaned bottles from previous eliquid purchases).

The next step is to buy flavor concentrates. These are pre-mixed flavorings that have been created and tested by talented mixers, and are only marginally more expensive than using individual flavors and following recipes. Here are several of my favorite sources for concentrates:

The concentrates typically include instructions on what percentage to use them, so for example, if you're making a 30ml bottle, and the flavor is to be mixed at 13%, you will use a syringe to measure about 4ml of flavoring into the bottle, then top the bottle up with your base liquid. Note that you can do the latter by eye: in a typical glass Boston round bottle the full capacity (30ml in this case) is just above where the bottle starts to curve inward near the top.

I hope you all find this helpful. I've been doing this for a couple of years now, and can't remember the last time a 30ml bottle cost me more than a couple of bucks.
