I know we will have great strides with https://dlux.io @dlux-io allowing open source virtual reality and 3d games to happen inside of steem, allowing us to port over so many proven classics like zelda ocarina a of time for n64, that can be imported into a steem based dlux.io system where you can play against other users for micro steem payments when they find rupees, with special colored rupees giving players 1 or 10 steem rarely, and users can use delegation as a tool where if you loose Health points you loose delegation 10sp at a time to whoever hit you, and when you hit someone else you got their delegation, and it would automatically return in 5 days but for 5 days you'll be funding the other characters upvotes ... this could be fun with a first person shooter scenario inside dlux.io .... if you go in with 100sp set as the limit for them to use, and whenever you got shot a steemconnect transaction went through that you pre authorize and they delegate to your attackers and vice versa so it would feel real and in the moment and you couldn't start a match unless you had an equal amount of steempower free to delegate to Match with an opponent!
These games could even have boss battles where you could risk attacking a boss whose damage would be larger chunks of steempower delegated from you if you get hit but if you beat the boss you can win like 1000sp delegated... and remember all delegation resets in 5 days so this game would be for fun and funded by players own SP and would be sort of like a low risk gambling where delegation just reset anyway but you could win or lose the delegation u play with
