From what I know, the bottom line with the flu vaccine is that it can only prevent like 3 out of hundreds of strains...and so they use some algorithm to choose each year. The chances of them landing on the strains that will be around are very small, while the chances of them making a boatload of money by putting out the vaccine regardless is clearly high.
And though they insist one cannot get the flu from the shot...they also stress to stay away from pregnant women and cancer patients after you get it...because though one cannot get it from the shot, one can infect others.
I agree with vaccines for polio, DTP, and small pox...period. They are deadly, we know, and they do live in the environment. Aside from that they are just money makers.
I have only gotten the flu one time in my entire life.
It just so happened to be the single time I got a flu shot...go figure!
