For 20 years, I've verbally shared this clash-of-world-views of elected officials vs. technologist (vc) dreams. Words have failed, so for a meeting with a "biggie" elected official last week, I drew a picture. Possibly a poor tactic, and some irony given a picture is worth a thousand words.
