vegan burger is healthy and taste good too...great post, thanks for sharing

I certainly love a good veggie-burger! Thanks for your support!

welcome

Wow a Vegan burger! I've never tried it but I'm certainly more interested now that I've had my share of veggie burgers ;) Very informative post @kennyskitchen!

Hilary's is definitely a great brand to start with for something you can make at home, they've got very clean ingredients, a variety of flavors, and they're available all over the US, and some places outside.

Cool, I'm not sure if they have one in DC but I'll keep an eye out for it when I go to San Jose this week. Thanks for the heads up!

Last time I visited Portland it was nothing short of vegan food extravaganza! Burger recipe looks delish too. I tried Taro burger patties out in Kauai recently, pretty good. Currently obsessed with Beyond Meat burger patties. This is awesome Kenny, looking forward to the exclusive. PEACE, MEAR

That's definitely how I feel whenever I'm here :-) I'm super excited to share a ton of the places I've found with the amazing Steemit community. Helps Steem, helps the restaurants, helps me :-)

I haven't tried either of those brands, I'll have to keep an eye out for them.

Oh, and I'll definitely be doing a season of "The Mindful Eater's Guide" in LA, already found a couple spots on my way to Acapulco this winter, and I'd love to discover some more!

Much love brother!

Brother, hit me up next time you're in LA. I live in Silverlake, vegan capital of the world in my opinion behind Portland etc. I can only find the Beyond Meat brand at Whole Foods, which sucks; my local health food store is Lassens and while great sometimes get knocked out of the exclusive deals Whole Foods make with certain brands like Kite Hill. But that changed recently with some urging from conscious customers like you and me, everything can change when we speak up. Peace brother.

and yo, hit me up for LA tips!

i like the idea!

Personally, I stay away from any laboratory-created "foodstuffs"

Thank you!

Awesome, this is a great resource. It's hard to figure out good ways to eat vegan - I've done a vegan diet before (and was pescatarian for 6 years in my youth), but right now I must admit that right now I'm on a pretty meaty diet.

Looking forward to trying out some of your recipes. Any chance you'll do an NYC episode?
